Biology Masters Theses with Regional Content

Many of the SSU Master's theses in Biology are based on research done in SSU's six-county service region: Sonoma, Marin, Mendocino, Lake, Napa and Solano. This pilot project was designed to aid discoverability of this graduate student work with a North Bay regional focus by adding geolocation data and enhanced description, thereby allowing the locations to be mapped and the theses more easily found.

Notes

  • Links to full text are provided when the thesis is available online. Print copies are available in the Library (note the call number listed). If you are an author of one of these theses and would like to see it online, please contact scholarworks@sonoma.edu.
  • Some theses covered research at many sites. We chose to illustrate up to five sites per thesis, which resulted in multiple entries on the map, spreadsheet, and cards for these theses.
  • The geolocation coordinates should be considered approximate. When specific locations were not identified in the thesis, we estimated an approximate location.
  • Some of these theses are available full-text online (links are provided), while others are only available in print format.
