| Abstract: | The Sonoma State University Library has managed to reduce the time it takes to add an item to the collection from several months to a couple of weeks. By following the principle of handling the materials as few times as possible, and training staff to accomplish a variety of functions when handling the materials, we are able to work smarter rather than harder and free up staff time for other projects. |
